It's World Budgie Day! In this house, we highly respect THE BUDGEHS.
Budgerigars/Parakeets may be smol, but their immense personalities and intelligence make them delightful companions for bird lovers. They never fail to bring joy through their silly antics and pleasant vocalizations which *sometimes* include words and sentences.
They are a social people who often seek out companionship with either their human and/or a fellow budgie. They can live on average about 7+ years.
They deserve so much more respect than some have offered them in the past, but hopefully, when we share our adoration for them, people will wake up to the glory that is BUDGEH. NAMASEEB!
